Terms of Service

The short version: use the service, pay for it, don't be weird about it. Here's the long version.

What 24K Labs Is

24K Labs provides AI-powered code analysis services accessed via API. You send us code, our AI analyzes it, you get results back. That's the product.

What You Get

When you make a request, you receive AI-generated analysis based on the code you submit. Results vary depending on the model tier you select (Haiku, Sonnet, or Opus) and the complexity of your code. Different tiers offer different depth of analysis at different price points.

No Warranty on AI Output

Let's be direct: AI can make mistakes. The output you receive is advisory, not guaranteed. It's a tool, not a replacement for your own judgment. You are responsible for reviewing and validating any results before acting on them.

We work hard to make the analysis useful and accurate, but we don't warrant that every response will be correct, complete, or suitable for your specific use case.

Payment Terms

All prices are in USD. We currently support one payment method with another on the way:

  • x402 (live now): USDC on Base L2. Payments are final on-chain and non-reversible. This is the native web3 payment rail -- your wallet pays, the service responds.
  • Stripe (coming soon): Standard credit card processing for those who prefer traditional payments.

Refund Policy

Not satisfied? Email [email protected] within 24 hours of your request for a full refund.

  • Refunds are issued at 24K Labs' discretion.
  • x402 refunds are processed manually to the wallet address that made the payment.
  • Stripe refunds are processed back to the original payment method.
  • Demo (free) requests are not eligible for refunds -- because they're free.

Acceptable Use

Don't do these things:

  • Don't submit malicious code designed to attack our systems.
  • Don't use the service for illegal purposes.
  • Don't attempt to reverse-engineer our prompts or models.
  • Don't abuse the API with automated spam requests.

If we determine you're violating these rules, we reserve the right to block your access without refund.

Data Handling

Code you submit is processed by Claude (Anthropic's API) and is subject to Anthropic's usage policies. We log request metadata -- timestamps, service used, tokens consumed -- but we do not permanently store your submitted code.

Limitation of Liability

24K Labs' total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific request in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Translation: if our AI gives you bad advice and you ship it to production without reviewing it, that's on you. Our maximum exposure is the cost of the request.

Service Availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee 100% uptime. Services may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, or things outside our control. We'll do our best to keep downtime minimal and communicate about planned maintenance.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We'll note the effective date at the top. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States.
